Dusangirimirimo Group's story

Philémon is part of the Dusangirimirimo group, the name of which means “we share the work”. He is 46 years of age and is a married father of six children aged between three and 20, five of whom go to school. He has six years of elementary school education.
Philémon is a rice farmer, and this is his second loan cycle with ACB. He plans to use his loan to purchase chemical fertilizers and pay his labor expenses.
To expand his business Philémon plans to request further loans to increase his agricultural activity. Over the coming years, he would like to become the best rice farmer in his region. He will use the profits he makes to pay for his children’s education and medical expenses.
