A loan of $575 helped to purchase the input and raw materials she needs, such as wood, molds, glue, and others, and to respond to her customers' orders.

Liliana's story

Liliana is a young entrepreneur who is 20 years old. About three years ago, she learned the craft of marquetry and got a job working with an acquaintance. Later on, she set up her own shop, and has been working hard ever since in order to generate income to support herself and contribute financially to cover home expenses. She has had her own shop for a year and a half, and thanks to the good quality of her products, she has been able to gain a great number of customers, which allows her business' sales to go very well. Hoping to respond to her customers' large orders, Liliana is seeking a loan so that she can purchase the input and raw materials that she needs, such as wood, molds, glue, and other items, in order to respond to her customers' orders. This way, her business will keep moving forward and she will continue to generate income for her household. Also, she hopes better income will allow her family to have a better quality of life and greater financial opportunities for progress. Her dream is for her shop to continue growing and some day have a large workshop where she may create jobs and be broadly known for her good work.
