Cleofe Cecilia's story

Cleofe’s a very hardworking woman; she’s the mother of a little three-year-old who attends nursery school. For Cleofe this little one is the greatest gift God has given her and for whom she works with much dedication to give him a good quality of life and above all love.

Her house is located in the city of Camana, a city noted for its beautiful beaches as well as for its agriculture, especially rice growing; also for its very delicious shrimp. When she has free time available, Cleofe likes to watch movies and also takes advantage of it to prepare one of her favorite dishes, the very delicious “Arroz Chaufa.”

Cleofe works with much joy selling groceries in the small store she has at home. She spends about 10 hours daily at work and can see up to 30 customers per day. She believes that she does well in her business because she’s kind and above all attentive to her customers.

Cleofe is very grateful to Kiva lenders because thanks to the help they’ve given her she will be able to buy more merchandise for her store (rice, sugar, canned goods, among others) as well as to improve the floor in the store which will lead to improved income and more customer comfort so that she can continue striving to make her greatest dream a reality: to give her son the best education and that he business grows.
