Ruperta Marina's story

The community bank called "Damas Del Futuro" gets together every fifteen days in the canton of Pajan, a canton known for its cattle. The rodeo is the main attraction of the region and is held here throughout the year. This is where we met Ruperta. She is 40 years old, she is married, and she has three children that are 21, 15, and 10 years old. The children study in college and school, and all of them live with her. Her husband is a baker. Ruperta and her family have a bakery where every day they bake all kinds of bread and pastries, which are essential to the breakfast tables of their customers. Every night Ruperta and her family prepare for the following day. They get up at 4:30 AM to bake the bread so that it is ready when their customers arrive. They have been in this business for more than 21 years and it has gone very well. They are a known business in the community and their customers enjoy what they offer. This loan is to buy flour, yeast, sugar, and other ingredients to prepare bread. Ruperta has belonged to the community bank for more than 10 years and she likes how the bank operates. Her dream is that her children become professionals one day.
