Zihué's story

Zihuè is a 48-year-old woman. She is married to a tiler. She has 3 children who all attend school. The eldest is 15 years old and the youngest 6.

Zihuè has been working as a retailer since 2007. She sells hair extensions and scarves at the market to all types of customers. She gets her supplies in Lomé and works alone. Currently, her biggest difficulty is her lack of stock.

Zihuè has requested her second loan from WAGES in order to buy hair extensions; she wishes to reinvest in her business. In the coming years, she would like to expand the size of her business. She plans to use her profits to improve her family's standard of living.
