A loan of $800 helped to buy fabrics.

Akossiwa's story

Akossiwa is a 31-year-old woman. She is married to a pastor and has no children.

Akossiva has been working as a reseller since 2007. She sells shirts and pants fabrics, in her shop, to a diverse group of customers. She buys her goods in Lomé and works alone. Her main challenge is that she is currently out of stock.

Akossiva has requested her second loan from WAGES for the purchase of shirts and pants fabrics. She wants to reinvest in her activity.

In the coming years, Akossiva would like to increase the size of her business. She says that, with the profits, she plans to improve her family's standard of living.
