A loan of $7,500 helped to purchase a van to organize visits and trips for patients and to purchase a new orthopedic chair.

Dalia's story

After Dalia's last successful entrepreneurial venture of owning and managing a coffee shop with her husband, her entrepreneurial spirit sparked once again. Three years ago, Dalia went through some changes in her life and decided that she wanted to create a company that would provide a good service for the community around her. She decided to open an adult daycare facility for elderly individuals. She officially opened her business in April of 2011 and currently has five residents, with a capacity for six overall.

The services that her company offers range from providing general care to more intense health care to general entertainment for the residents. Even though the company is still young, Dalia is very excited about its potential and loves what she is doing. She even mentions a resident who is 90 years old and originally from Cuba that she loves to listen to telling stories of Cuba and Miami from a long time ago.

Dalia would like to use this loan to expand the services that she can offer her residents. She would like to buy a van to organize visits and trips. She would also like to purchase a new orthopedic chair for handicapped residents.
