A loan of $3,250 helped a member to buy cosmetics for sale.

Santa Catalina Group's story

The Santa Catalina Group is named in honor of the patron saint of the neighborhood in which its members reside. There are 19 women, all of whom are hard-working, determined to get ahead, and they support their families through their jobs. They are in the tenth second-program cycle for which they display great enthusiasm and determination.

Juliana is a member of the group. She is president and tells us that because the group members are so close, they are easily getting through each cycle as they move forward. Juliana sells all kinds of cosmetics, all of which are recognized brands, and with this income she supports her family. She describes herself as a hard-working person and a fighter.

Juliana wants to continue building her business, so she is seeking a loan so that she can buy more cosmetics to ensure that she always has a good stock of a variety of products for her customers.

In this group: Juliana, Silvia, Eydie, Rosalva, Iluminada, Lourdes, Maria, Lidia, Liliana, Lida, Beatriz, Graciela, Rossana, Ramona, Myrian, Lorenza, Asuncion*, Catalina*, Natalia*
