Manana is 47 years old. She lives in a small village district of Gurjaani with her family: her husband, Akaki, an artisan who makes firewood stoves; two sons, 24 and 22 years old, and a daughter-in law.
The family earns money through an agriculture business. In particular, she has a vineyard, a milking cow and pigs. Manana sells her products -- milk, cheese, grapes and piglets -- on the local open market. In addition to this, family members are busy making and selling firewood stoves, which they sell seasonally. The average monthly income of the family is 1,100 GEL.
Manana requested a loan for purchasing car. Manana will use it for sales of family products. With the car, she will be able to move comfortably and easily. This will save the costs related to renting a car and the family's monthly income will increase.
She will spend the biggest portion of her income to develop the agricultural business. Manana will buy one more milking cow and pigs. She will produce more cheese and curds, and her sales from agricultural products will increase.
