Revaz's story

Revaz is 58 years old. He lives in a small village of the Gardabani district with his wife, Irina, and a sister. Revaz is a worker in the village. Along with the above mentioned he works on a family agricultural farm. The family has a dairy farm with 9 milk cows. Revaz, his sister and Irina produce cheese and sell it on the Gardabani Market. The total average monthly income of the family is 1,000 Laris.

Revaz requested credit for purchasing piglets and feed for them. Revaz will grow piglets and sell grown pigs by early winter for a higher price. The family will get a profit. Revaz will reinvest it in the same business and purchase more piglets. In the long term, the income of the family will increase and they will be able to purchase necessary consumer goods to improve their living conditions.
