A loan of $775 helped to buy seed and fertilizers.

Antonia's story

Antonio is 49 years old, a very sincere woman who lives with Daniel, her husband for 30 years. Together they have 6 children, with 2 of them living with them, Judith and Klever, caring for them in their own home located in the town of Matchocco.

She has her own agricultural land from which she extracts the products she needs to sell. Her main crops are tubers, beans, barley, and peas, which she cares for with a lot of dedication and concern. She is also in the business of buying and selling herbal medicines to the people of various communities, who know of the healing properties they have. Things are going well in her business and it is pleasing to know that she can help people with her knowledge of herbs. Also she has animals (cows, sheep, donkeys and chickens); she cares for them, and sometimes when she needs money, she sells them to the butchers that come to her home, but she also uses them for her own consumption.

This is her eighth loan with MFP and she feels grateful for the support that she receives, as it helps her move ahead with her business. She likes being a part of the group as it consists of unified and good people.

Antonia will invest the money from the loan in the purchase of pea seeds and natural fertilizers in order to begin the next agricultural undertaking.
