A loan of $775 helped buy bean and corn seeds, disease and weed controls, and to replace some of his farming implements.

Mariano's story

Mariano, 47 years old, lives with his life companion and their children in his own house within an urban zone located near the national capital. He cultivates corn and beans and [usually] gets good harvests, thanks to his various years of experience in agriculture.

Lately, Mariano has gained more clientèle because everything he grows and sells is of the best quality and he sells it all at very accessible prices. In addition, his service is excellent. Mariano is a man who is dedicated to work and family. That's why he devotes all his efforts to getting ahead. He believes that motivation is a man's best friend since it helps him realize his dreams.

For that reason, Mariano is requesting a loan through INTEGRAL to purchase bean and corn seeds, and disease and weed controls, and to replace some of his manual farming tools. Last year, Mariano lost a good deal of his harvest and, for that reason, he currently lacks the necessary resources to continue with his accustomed labors. He hopes that with this institution's help, the desire to provide his family with the best quality of life will not be frustrated.
