A loan of $375 helped to increase her mpesa business float.

Emily's story

Emily is a single lady aged 43 years old and a mother to one child, aged 21 years old. She offers Mpesa (mobile money transfer) services in the Kapsabet area. Her business has been in operation for a period of one and one-half years, earning a monthly income of about Kenya shillings 15,000.

She is servicing her first term loan of Kenya shillings 30,000 from KADET LTD, and she intends to use this amount to add more of the Mpesa business float. The amount she plows back in the business will be used to repay the loan and add more float.

She hopes to prosper in business and in life.
