Sonou's story

Aged 40 and mother of 3 children all of whom attend school, Mrs Sonou sells cereals. She buys her stock at Anié (a locality situated about 280 kilometres from the town of Lomé) and sells it from home. She is assisted by 1 person and periodically has problems with the delivery of the merchandise. She wants this first loan from WAGES to buy cereals. In the future she wishes to diversify her products, and provide the basic necessities for her family. Her husband is a driver. Her eldest child is 14 and the youngest 6. She started her business in 2003.
