Essowavana's story

Essowavana is a 39-year-old woman. She is married to a clerk. She has six children, two of whom attend school.
Essowavana has worked as a retailer since 1990. She sells red palm oil, cereals, and charcoal to all types of customers at a bus station. She buys her products in Lomé. She works by herself. At the moment, her main difficulty is being unable to satisfy all of her customers.
Essowavana has requested her first loan from WAGES in order to buy red palm oil. She wants to reinvest in her business.
In the coming years, Essowavana would like to develop her business. She says that with the profits, she intends to ensure her family's well-being.
