Issaka's story

Issaka is a 64-year-old woman and the mother of 2 children, aged 25 and 30, one of whom attends school. She is widowed and has been selling cereals since 1990, so that she is able to meet her family's needs. She sells her produce from home and gets her supplies in Lomé.

Issaka is requesting this second loan from WAGES so that she can buy bags of cereals. She would like to buy additional cereal and ensure the prosperity of her business. She wants to be able to meet her child's educational needs.
