A loan of $250 helped to purchase plates, wheat flour and beans.

Zainab's story

Zainabu is a married woman with two children, both of whom attend school. She owns a house that neither has electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food and school fees.

For the past six years, she has operated a food stall business, selling to her neighbours and passersby. She faces a major challenge of seasonality in her place of operation. She dreams of establishing a café in the future.

With the Kshs 20,000, she wants to purchase plates, wheat flour and beans. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
