A loan of $1,525 helped to buy internet antennas.

Maribel's story

Maribel, 28, is a hardworking woman. She lives with her mother, Elva, and her two sisters, Celeste and Ariana. They live in their own house, located in the settlement of San Pedro de Saño.

Since she was little she helped her parents in the different jobs they did. As the oldest sister she took charge of the household. This is why several years ago she opened a bakery where she began baking bread. In time she moved into making cakes, tortes, and other desserts. It is going very well for her in her job because her mother and her sisters help her.

This allowed her to open another business, an internet cafe. She began with four computers and now has nine. Her plans are to expand her business more, invest in technology, and buy new machines to get better profits.

She belongs to the San Pedro communal bank and this is her third loan with MFP. She promises once again to make her payments. In addition, it pleases her to be part of her group because all its members are responsible and very supportive people.

Maribel will invest the requested money in buying internet antennas to offer that service to her neighbors.
