A loan of $775 helped to buy animals.

Elipio's story

Elipio, 61, is a very responsible man who lives with his daughter, Jessica, in the town of Pantipata. His wife died seven years ago. He has been sad since then but he knows that he has to go on with his life because of his daughter, the only family he has left.

His finances revolve around agriculture. His main crops are wheat, broad beans, "olluco" [a tuber], and potatoes. He looks after them with a lot of love and care because he knows they depend on his care to get the best results. Since he is a rural man, he also raises cattle and sheep, which he fattens for later sale to the butchers. Thanks to his effort and that of his wife, he managed to acquire several plots of cropland, which he shares with his daughter because he taught her this noble job.

He belongs to the Agupata group and this is the third loan he has had with MFP, for which he feels fulfilled because he gets the economic support he needs.

Elipio will invest the requested money in buying animals to be able to increase his livestock and consequently his profits.
