A loan of $575 helped to buy ingredients.

Magno's story

Magno, 37, lives with his spouse, Rudy, and their two daughters: Gracy and Kely. They own their house located in Pilcomayo.

His days are centered on preparing delicious dishes that he sells across from a university. He’s known by all the employees and students who without fail come by his business because it’s well-known for the taste of his food.

Magno relates that he’s always liked to cook; he used to work as a cook in a mine. He earned good profits there but had to leave that job due to health reasons. Now, his hope is to have a soup restaurant in the city and has started to save money to do so which is why he works weekends in a fast-food restaurant where he’s paid extra money.

This is the first loan he’s had with MFP. He feels good about the support he’s getting because he will get encouragement that way and the opportunity to reach his objectives.

Magno will use the money requested to buy ingredients to sell “carnero al palo,” [roasted goat] the traditional dish in the area.
