A loan of $1,150 helped to buy livestock.

Gabi's story

Gabi is 20 years old. She’s a young mother who very much wants to work. She lives with her husband and son in a house they inherited.

For the last four years she’s been selling small farm animals. Her capital comes from her own farm. She also buys animals from neighbors to then transport them to the livestock fair which makes it possible for her to earn higher profits by selling in quantity. Her husband helps her in all these tasks and is always ready to improve the business because it’s been quite profitable during all this time. She was able to use profits to improve her house’s infrastructure. She’d like to expand her working capital for the future.

She decided to work with MFP thanks to a personal invitation she got in an informational pamphlet. She found out about the loan conditions and noted that it was convenient for her business’s development so this is her second loan.

Gabi will use the requested money to buy animals to take advantage of this season of the year when her sales are higher.
