A loan of $400 helped to buy fertilizer and livestock feed.

Teófila's story

Teófila, 45, lives with León, her husband, and with Nilton, her youngest son. They own their house located in Huachac.

Teófila has a long trajectory working in agricultural activities since it’s been 30 years since she’s been working the land and raising livestock. During these years, alongside her husband, she’s been able to support her three children who are now independent people. She feels happy to have educated her children and all that remains for her now is to continue working the land to support her and her husband. They continue growing corn and potatoes, the main products of her land. They also raise livestock, mainly cows and bulls that they sell. She also sells food at home.

This is loan #5 with MFP where she feels fulfilled and she also likes her group because its members are supportive, hardworking people.

Teófila will use the requested money to buy natural fertilizer to spread among her crops; the rest of the money will be used to buy fiber for her livestock.
