Olimpio's story

Olimpio, 68, lives with his wife and two children who he loves very much. He lives in family harmony in his own house located in El Tambo.

Always responsible, he rises every morning convinced that he’ll run into his customers who have bought basic staples from him for more than 31 years. He decided to open a grocery store at home taking advantage of it being located on one of his neighborhood’s main avenues. He’s open every day alongside his wife and always supplies his clientele with what they need providing kind, warm service which is why his customers are loyal to his store. His store is the busiest in the zone and the seasons when sales are best are during feast days and Christmas; his wish is to stay in business.

Olimpio belongs to a solidarity group and this is MFP loan #19. He’s one of the longest-standing members of the group and always motivates the other members to be united, responsible and very cooperative with the various activities. He also enjoys this work because he says that it fills him with satisfaction and vitality to get ahead.

He will use the requested money to buy basic staple items to stock his grocery store.
