This is 52-year-old Mary. She is from the capital of Zimbabwe, Harare, which means "he who does not sleep". She is married with two children. She also cares for two dependents. Mary runs a clothing business selling clothes and blankets. The business has been in operation for 20 years. She says the main challenge faced is stiff competition. Mary has requested a loan of $400 to buy clothes for resale. She says the extra income generated as a result of this loan will allow her to help in the family upkeep. In the future Mary plans to own a clothing shop.
