This is 43-year-old Mavis from Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe, which means "He who does not sleep." She is married with four children, and three of them are attending school. She also cares for one dependent. Mavis runs a tailoring business that makes clothing. The business has been in operation for 20 years. She says the main challenges that she faces are frequent power cuts and stiff competition. Mavis has requested a loan of $400 to buy sewing material. She says the extra income generated from this loan will allow her to help in the family upkeep. In the future, Mavis plans to own a clothing shop.
