A loan of $1,150 helped to buy wood and tools.

Mario Alberto's story

Mario is a hard worker who lives with his partner and three-year old daughter, who he loves very much and will do anything for in order to give her a decent life and make her happy. His house is located in the city of Ica which is known for its warm and welcoming climate, and especially because of its agriculture and the Huacachina Lagoon which is visited by many tourists every year. Like every good Peruvian, he likes the country's typical dishes and one of his favorites is the delicious "Tallarín con Carapulca" stew.

Every day Alberto attends to his business as a master builder. He spends about 10 hours a day and attends to one customer daily, depending on the size of the job he must do. He believes business is going well because he is so responsible and good at what he does, so his customers always recommend him.

Mario is very grateful once again to Kiva lenders, since this is the second time he is receiving their support. With this help he will be able to buy the wood he needs for his work, and also buy tools such as picks and shovels, among other items. This will allow him to continue working daily toward his main goal: "To have a construction company".
