A loan of $500 helped to purchase merchandise (turtlenecks, sweaters, bags, etc.).

Rosana Yasmin's story

Rosana is 26 years old and the mother of a five-year-old, which has required a lot of fortitude. She lives with her mother on whom she has relied heavily. Her home is located in the city of Imperial, which is characterized by a warm climate throughout the year. Agriculture is prevalent, especially the cultivation of corn and bananas.

Rosana has endured many difficulties but has managed to overcome and learn from her mistakes. With tremendous effort and with the help of her mother, Rosana succeeded in starting her own clothing sales business. She learned little by little and the business is now two years old. In the mornings she helps her mother sell breakfasts and at the same time offers her products for sale. She is very friendly with clients and above all is very patient; that is why she thinks she will succeed in her business. Additionally, her designs are always beautiful.

Rosana is grateful for Kiva loans. Thanks to this financial support, she can buy more merchandise for her store. This includes winter clothing such as turtlenecks, sweaters, and coats, among others, for women, men and children. With this improvement, she can have a better variety of products and increase her income, enabling her to fight toward her ultimate goal of giving her son a good education and helping her mother.
