Sor is 50 years old from Prey Chor district of Kompong Cham province. She is married to her husband, who works in the same type of business as a local farmer cultivating various kinds of crops, like rice, beans, corn, and vegetables, depending on the season. This couple has given birth to five children. Four of them are already married, while the other one is still single and lives with her in a house.
To improve her business, Sor would like to take out a loan of USD 1,000 to purchase a threshing machine, which will allow her to ensure a good quality of her work performance. Also, she can provide this service to local farmers for extra income. She believes that her business will further improve through the constant help from our lenders providing her a loan.
