Thoeurn, 26, is married and resides with her husband and two children in Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia. She has been selling groceries for more than two years, earning approximately USD 15 per day. Her husband is involved in growing agricultural crops and fattening up animals. He earns about USD 5 per day. In order to develop her business, Thoeurn is requesting a loan of USD 1,000 to purchase more groceries to resell. By doing so, she would earn more profits to support the family and help her children get bachelors' degrees. Moreover, she hopes to rebuild her present house to make it more comfortable for her family’s living conditions.
