Marine's story

Marine has been involved in an agricultural business in the village of Arajadzor for 12 years. On her plot she grows potatoes, garlic, beans, apples, blood oranges, pomegranites, and figs. Marine sells the vegetables and fruit that she grow in the city of Kapane; this provides for a large portion of her family's needs.

Marine needs a loan of 900 drami to buy water tanks and install an irrigation system for watering her plot. Currently she pays her neighbors to use their irrigation system for watering. Marine will also use a portion of the loan to buy apple and pomegranite seedlings for her business.

Marine is 48 years old. She is married and has two children: a son and a daughter who live with their parents. Along with running her argicultural business, Marine also works as an architect. Marine's family helps her with growing the vegetables and fruit.
