Raquel is 34 years old, and is the mother of an 8-year-old son. She is a teacher, and her husband is a merchant, and they both work to provide for their family and household. She is grateful to Afodenic, as it has allowed her to repair and improve her house. In her first loan cycle she intends to purchase: zinc sheets, metal beams, cement, iron and other construction materials for completing the building plan for walls and roofing of her home.

These improvements will also improve her home’s security, and in winter, will hopefully stop her roof from leaking, as well as decrease the humidity inside the house. Her priority is to provide a safe and comfortable home for her son, and to give him a better quality of life. Her future projects include continuing construction on her home.
