A loan of $775 helped to purchase lightbulbs, batteries, wheels, voltage regulators, etc.

Victor Daniel's story

Victor lives in the city of Ica, which is known for having warm weather throughout the entire year. It is also the home of Huacachina Lake, a desert oasis that is visited by many tourists. Whenever he has free time, he enjoys repairing things. He also likes to eat one of his favorite dishes, the flavorful "seco de cabrito" (goat stew). He only has a high school education, but he would have liked to have studied mechanical engineering.

With great enthusiasm, Victor leaves for his work as a plumber and electrician. He works in his business for approximately eight hours each day and is able to serve up to 10 customers in a day based on the difficulty of the repairs. He believes he has done well in his business because he is very meticulous, responsible, and thorough in his job.

Victor is very grateful to the Kiva lenders. Thanks to the assistance they will provide, he will be able to buy equipment, such as lightbulbs, batteries, wheels, voltage regulators, among others so that he can complete his work. With this improvement, he will be able to provide better service to his customers since he will have the necessary tools. He continues to strive each day to accomplish his greatest dream of having a plumbing and electrical company.
