La Nueva Esperanza Group's story

Natividad Enma belongs to the “La Nueva Esperanza” (New Hope) communal bank which has seven members all neighbors living in the same area. Something that characterizes them is the effort they expend daily in order to get ahead and provide and improve their homes’ economies.

An example of this is Natividad Enma, 52, married and the mother of two children who are now adults. She sells clothes in small stand she was able to get through a girlfriend; she’s been engaged in this economic activity for more than 20 years now. It has given her much economic satisfactions throughout these long years examples of which are her children’s education and the purchase of furniture for her house. In her free time she enjoys designing and sewing pants and shirts. She will use the recent loan to buy fabric.
