A loan of $2,150 helped to broaden her assortment of goods.

Jamiykul's story

Jamiykul is 57 years old and a widow, she has raised her son. In 2000, in search of a source income for her family, Jamiykul started her own business selling clothing, starting with a sum of 10,000 somoni (KGS). Thanks to her perseverance and hard work Jamiykul was able to grow her business to a monthly income of 6,000 somoni (KGS). Today her product assortment does not appear abundant and because of this Jamiykul has turned to Bai Tushum & Partners for a loan of 100,000 somoni (KGS) in order to expand her product assortment. Jamiykul plans to invest a portion of the income from the loan into the purchase of livestock as she has a shed for raising them and a portion into expanding her business.
