Ra, 26, is married and resides with her husband and three children in Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia. She has been involved in the agricultural business for more than ten years, has extensive experience and is successful in her career. She is involved in cassava cultivation. She earns approximately USD 4 per day. Her husband is a tractor driver who runs a tilling service. He earns about USD 10 per day. Her children are still in her care. In order to improve her family’s livelihood, Ra is requesting a loan of USD 1200 to purchase more farmland to use for cultivating cassava. By doing so, she would earn more income to support the family. In the future, she would like to expand her business and help her children get bachelor’s degrees.
