Nemecio's story

Nemesio is a 56 year-old man who is married and has 2 minor children in his care. He lives in his own home with his wife and children. His house is located in the Ex Aterrizaje Hualtaco settlement in Tambogrande district, and it has electricity. He lives in a community that includes about 80 families.

Nemesio has a business raising small animals (sheep, goats, pigs and poultry) and selling them in the local market. He is also a farmer who cultivates lemons on some land that he has. He has been doing this work for about 12 years. In addition to this, in his spare time he also provides passenger transportation services and he does this work very well. His wife supports him with his businesses.

He is requesting a loan of 2,000 Peruvian soles that he will use to invest in the maintenance of his crops and to purchase feed and vitamins for his animals. He will also buy tires for his mototaxi (a light, 3-wheeled passenger vehicle). This will allow him to improve his standard of living.
