A loan of $525 helped to buy hair extensions and cosmetic products.

Médégnonmi Rufine's story

Médégnonmi Rufine is 39 years old and lives in Benin. She is married to a welder by the name of Nestor. She halted her studies in secondary school and then learned how to style hair. The couple have three children, all in school and in their care. Médégnonmi Rufine and her husband jointly ensure that the diverse household expenses are covered.

To cope with her different expenses, Médégnonmi Rufine has been working as a hairdresser for about thirteen years. Concurrent to this business, she sells hair extensions in her salon. She gets her supplies from Benin and from Togo. This business enables her to meet the needs of her children and to support herself.

Médégnonmi Rufine would like to boost her business, and this will enable her to respond effectively to the requirements of her customers. For this reason, she is requesting a loan from ALIDé for the third time. The previous loans were indeed paid back.
