Françoise Médégnomi is married to a gardener named Koudous. The couple has five children, all of whom have had schooling and live in their care. Françoise Médégnomi lives with her husband and children.

In order to cover the various family expenses, Françoise Médégnomi has been selling food (corn dough, rice, accompanied with a fish sauce) and cold beverages in Benin for about ten years now. She stocks up at a market in Benin.

Striving to satisfy her customers and grow her sales and revenue, Françoise Médégnomi, along with the other members of the OLOWOLAYEMA group, is seeking a loan from ALIDé. This loan will surely allow them to increase the level of their business and earn more profit.

Le groupe OLOWOLAYEMA est composé de trois personnes qui fréquentent la même église. C'est la première fois que ce groupe sollicite l'aide financier de ALIDé, afin d'élever le niveau de son activité. La représentante du groupe, du nom de Françoise Médégnomi est celle qui a la main levée sur la photo. Françoise Médégnomi est âgée de 43 ans et vit au Bénin. Françoise Médégnomi a arrêté l’école au niveau primaire. Françoise Médégnomi est mariée à un jardinier du nom de Koudous. Le couple a cinq enfants, tous scolarisés et à leur charge. Françoise Médégnomi vit ensemble avec son mari et ses enfants. Afin d'assurer les diverses charges de la famille, Françoise Médégnomi vend depuis une dizaine d’année de la nourriture (pâte de maïs, riz, accompagné de sauce aux poissons) et des boissons fraîches au Benin. Françoise Médégnomi s’approvisionne dans un marché du Benin. Dans la quête de la satisfaction de sa clientèle et pour accroître son chiffre d’affaires et son revenu, Françoise Médégnomi sollicite ensemble avec les autres membres du groupe OLOWOLAYEMA, un crédit auprès de ALIDé. Ce crédit leur permettra surement de rehausser le niveau de leur activité et de se faire plus de profit.

About Alidé

Alidé is a Beninese NGO that works to reduce poverty by offering sustainable access to productive loans like this one in addition to savings, training sessions, and social work to low-income families.

Supporters of this loan should be aware that there is some risk of being repaid late. Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000. This means that some Kiva lenders may receive their repayments late. However, Alidé remains a healthy institution in good standing with its creditors, and Kiva would like to continue working to support its clients. This is a Group Loan
