Biasha is a widow who lives at a rental house that has electricity, but not piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is rental bills.
For the past two years, she has operated a charcoal selling business, selling at the market to her neighbours and passersby. She faces a major challenge of seasonality in her business.
Biasha is requesting for KES 30,000 to purchase sacks of charcoal for resale. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
