Heang, 52, is married and resides with her husband and eight children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She and her husband have been involved in the agricultural business for more than twenty years. They have extensive experience and are successful in their career. They are involved in growing rice and fattening up cattle. They earn approximately USD 8 per day. Five of her children are employed as garment workers and construction workers. They earn about USD 17 per day.
Heang requested a loan of USD 1500 to pay for her son’s wedding expenses. In the future, she would like to rebuild her present house and help her children get bachelor’s degrees.
