A loan of $2,425 helped a member to buy 2 superior type piglets.

Kucup Mekar Group's story

Ni Ketut and all members of Kucup Mekar agreed to continue to have loans for their businesses. They still need a loan to develop a business raising pigs. They will stop borrowing when they have enough savings for their own capital.

With full support from her husband who works as a farmer, Ni Ketut will use the loan to buy 2 superior type piglets for 500,000 IDR each. The remainder of the loan will be used to buy feed. By still keeping the pigs for fattening, Ni Ketut hopes there will be an increase in profits. For everyday needs, Ni Ketut gets money from her husband and her business sales cover the means of worship of Hindus.
