A loan of $3,150 helped a member to buy footwear and beauty products.

Mujeres Forjadoras Group's story

Kelly is 31 years old, married, and has two small children who are still in school. She works for them so that she can contribute towards some of the household expenses and thereby support her husband. Kelly is a member of the 'Mujeres Forjadores' group. She feels happy because her loans have been very helpful for her business. Kelly started out selling beauty products through a catalog and then started selling footwear as well. Her work has allowed her to make good income and manage her profit margin in accordance with her sales. It has also allowed her to look out for her children and not neglect them because her business enables her to provide her children with a better education and better quality of life. She will use her current loan to buy footwear and beauty products. Mother's Day is approaching and it represents a good opportunity for making sales. She hopes to make the most of these celebrations to enjoy good sales.
