A loan of $2,525 helped a member to purchase more products and earn more profit in her business.

Gardelias Del Sur Group's story

Elizabeth is 37 years old and lives in Las Cruces in San Marcos Municipality. She is married to her husband, Eleuterio, who is a farmer. They have three children, all of whom are in school thanks to their parents, because Elizabeth is a business woman.

Elizabeth supports her family through her business selling bread, which she has had for two years. She will use her loan in order to earn more income so that she can continue to provide her three children with an education. She will benefit by earning greater profits thereby increasing her capital.

Elizabeth, like the other nine members of the group, which consists of 10 hardworking women overall, is capable of moving her family forward.
