A loan of $3,875 helped a member to increase the grocery stock.

First Class Group's story

Zainabu is in her late 30s and married with two children who are still going to school. She has been running a grocery store for eight months. She works from 11.00 a.m. to 11.00 p.m. daily and is able to make a good monthly profit. This would be her third loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loans to buy items missing from the grocery store and has paid back her loans successfully. She wants a loan to increase the grocery store stock. Her dream is to one day be able to buy a shamba (a field for growing crops). She will share this loan with her loan group "First Class," which has a total of 15 members who will hold each other accountable for paying back their loans.
