Gregorio V. is 35 years old, single, and is from the interior of the country. Evers since he was young worked helping his father on the farm planting fruits and vegetables. About eight years ago he decided to come to the city of Luque where several of his brothers were working, all of whom are very humble and hard working.

His brothers helped Gregorio to get started in Luque through the purchase of a pickup truck so that he could make a living through mobile sales of various types of goods. As such, Gregorio sells staples such as sugar, rice, flour, canned goods, housewares, and so forth. He travels to Chaco Paraguayo (northwestern Paraguay) twice a week in order to sell his goods to pre-established clientele.

He would like this loan so that he can buy merchandise in larger quantities, because last month he obtained new customers who have made large orders of merchandise. In the longer term, he has set his sights on buying a larger truck in order to expand his business and income.
