A loan of $675 helped to buy more food items to sell to her customers.

Mwanaisha's story

Mwanaisha is grateful to both Yehu and Kiva for their support. She used a previous loan to greatly improve the living standards of her family, including better health care and higher quality education. Her goal is to open a wholesale food company, but for now she sells various food items from a kiosk. Her previous loan allowed her to increase her monthly income by over 40 percent. She is applying for a loan for KSH 55,000 to buy more food items to sell, including sugar, and wheat flour and maize flour.
