A loan of $1,225 helped to buy cassava couscous.

Akuélé's story

Akuélé is a 58-year-old woman and a widow with a 32-years-old child. She has been a retailer of "atsiéké" (a food made from cassava that is eaten with fish) since 2004. She makes atsiéké at home and gets her supplies in Lomé.

Akuélé is requesting this third loan from WAGES to buy atsiéké and some beef. She wants to reinvest in her business in order to have better sales and a good financial situation.
