Mujeres Unidas Group's story

The committee pictured above is made up of 15 members from the city of Luque. They are in their first program cycle, and have come together with the common goal of supporting one another and providing a better life for their families.

Lourdes is one of the group members, and she works as a seamstress. She is 27 years old, and is married to Ovidio, who is a salesman. They have two children together, and Lourdes works very hard to help her husband with the household expenses and to provide a better life for their children. Lourdes’ goal is to grow and stabilize her business.

She is requesting this loan in order to purchase fabrics, thread, buttons and other products to keep up with her clients’ orders.
