Alhayah Group's story

This group is called ALHAYAH. It consists of four members: Mriam, Sameera, Asil (male) and Momtaz, who is the leader of the group. There are three females and one male and they live in Aden, Yemen. They took a loan of 260,000 YER.

Momtaz is 32 years old. She is the second woman on the right in the photo. She is married woman and has five children. She has been selling fish for two years. She lives in Aden, Yemen and she started her business with limited capital as well as that provided by a previous AMB loan. She is a very caring & supportive woman.

The loan is the main source for her business. So, she applied for a loan of 70,000 YER from AMB in order to buy fish from the sea and sell it at the market.

In the future, she hopes to open a store for her business to improve her family.
