Alfatmia Group's story

This group is called ALFATMIA and is made up of three ladies, Myrvt, Randa and Frdos, who belong to the same savings group. They live in Aden, Yemen. This group is requesting financial assistance from Kiva partner AMB in order to raise their level of activity. They have applied for a loan of 210,000 YER.
Randa is the group's representative (she is in the middle on the photo). She is a 36-year-old married woman and has four children. She sells different items such as clothes, incense, etc. She started her business with goods she took on credit from merchants. She tries hard to improve her living conditions. To meet her customers' needs, and in order to increase her turnover and income, Randa is requesting a loan of 80,000 YER from AMB to buy additional clothes, incense, etc. for her business. She hopes to expand her business in order to improve it.
